Jesus is the gift to the world from the heavenly father. He is love birth at Christmas. He is the joy of God to the world.

Unfortunately the truth of Christmas has been eroded by consumerism and instead of Christmas what most homes experience now is CRISISMAS.

Children know more about Santa Claus today and not as much of Jesus

What is prayer? The simple answer is this: prayer is having a conversation with God. Conversation is a part of any vital and growing relationship. We sometimes measure the quality of a marriage relationship by how well the couples communicate. Or to state it another way, one of the first things people point to as evidence that a marriage is in trouble is a lack of communication. The same is true for our relationship with the Father. True, honest, heartfelt conversation is a sign of a healthy relationship. A lack of conversation or conversation only in public is a sign of a relationship in trouble.

"Where there is no vision, the people perish”.  Proverbs 29:18

"Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will  not tarry.” Habakkuk 2: 2-3

Here at a Word of Life, we have a God given assignment. A call, together with our Kensington Temple London City Church family.  It is to see "London and the World for Christ ”.

Mat. 10:31 “Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows”.This is one of the most encouraging scripture for me in the Word of God, the fact that I am valued by God. Everyone wants to be valued and everyone wants to be loved. Our true value however is God’s estimate of our worth, not what other people think of us.

When I reflect on my life and realize how much my passion was misdirected, I thank God that He found me. Our Christian passion is founded essentially on faith, faith in a man who himself had a passion for humanity. Our Christian passion is energized by a spirituality that is rooted in grace.

Proverbs 11:30 " He who saves souls is wise"

Each of us have communities we influence each day, from where we live to where we work, socialize and fellowship.

We want to encourage each one of you to begin to intentionally engage with people during these summer months and reach out to them with the love of Christ.

John3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” 

This is the most famous scripture ever quoted, but do we really understand it. Do we really understand God’s love?

The love God shows here is His “agape” love. This is an unconditional love, a love that is not limited by any conditions and is unreserved. Sounds strange! It shouldn’t, because this is the God we serve.
