Our children are not just the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today. Children are part of Word of Life and our desire is to include them in the life of our church. They can be used by God, just as much as any adult can. And we believe it is good to train them in the Word of God, as it gets rooted in their young hearts so that they wouldn't depart from the truth as they grow older.
Ministering to children is truly a blessing because for whatever you give, you receive at least double back from the children. They actually give you insights into some mysteries of the Word of God and sometimes remind you that you are so very dependant on Him! Jesus said that we need to be like these little ones if we want to enter the Kingdom of God... Their simple faith is a gift and we endeavour to encourage it.
We have a lively team of workers who are DBS checked for your child’s protection.

Our Sunday goes pretty much as follows:
Praise and Worship
Little Praisers praise and worship in their room separate from the rest of the church. The other children praise and worship with the church, playing our percussion instruments and waving our banners. Then around 12pm we go into our groups and have fun learning about Jesus and his good works.
Showing what God is doing in us
We like to show the church what God is doing in our lives and this usually happens several times a year.
Evangelism
We encourage our children to pray for each other and their friends and family. We usually organise a yearly fun kids event for the people of Lewisham. More information nearer the time.
Encounters
Children who are part of our church go on an Encounter, to have the opportunity of being closer to God. We usually join Kensington Temple on their Encounters. More information nearer the time.
