Dearly Beloved, do you ever sit down and think about the fact that you were created to be fruitful?
When God created you He put in you the seed of fruitfulness. He at creation said to us:
"Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
We were created with everything we need to be fruitful, that is the reason God created us in the first place.
Satan stepped in to side track us by tempting Adam and Eve to sin. He "succeeded" for a moment but God sent His Son Jesus to recover that mandate for us. If you are a true believer today in the Lord Jesus and have made him Saviour and Lord of your life, you have that mandate restored to you, to be fruitful.
You have all you need to be fruitful. You have the seed of fruitfulness in you, you have the Word of God and you have the power of the Holy Spirit. You have the weight of the Trinity (Father, Son and The Holy Spirit) behind you urging you to be fruitful in every area of life. You have no reason not to be fruitful.
So begin to say no to fruitlessness. Rise up and depart from the fruitless life. From today onwards begin to passionately run after fruitfulness.
May you be fruitful this year and beyond in the land that the Lord has given you.
