Consolidation Ministry

The Consolidation Ministry is a vital ministry in the Church (Galatians 4:19).

Consolidation can be defined as "the care and attention we should give to the new believer in order to reproduce Christ's character in him or her". Consolidation is the process by which we establish new believers in the faith, so that they move forward on to maturity and do not slip back into their old ways. Consolidation for a believer should be a lifestyle as well as a team process. Here at WOL we have a consolidation team and that team consists of those we call CONSOLIDATORS.

The ministry they carry out is wide and varied. It includes taking new believers through the process of explaining the decision they have made for Christ and verifying that decision, praying with them and for their needs, taking personal and contact details by completing a verification form, answering their questions, making a phone call within 48 hours, visiting them within a week, referring them to a cell group and encouraging them to join the cell group, being an available friend to them etc.

Our Consolidators do these and much more. Jesus said he who wants to be greatest in the Kingdom of God should be servant of all.
