The True Message of Easter

Jesus paid it all for you, I and the whole world. Jesus is the true message of Easter and the reason for the season. Jesus was crucified; He died an agonising death, and was buried. He conquered death, rose from the grave and was resurrected back to life. By this He has made salvation and victory available to you and I.

Isaiah 53 verses 3–11

He Always Leads Us in Victory

2 Corinthians 2:14-17

"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”

Did you know that victory is always yours—that it actually belongs to you?

Yes you! I am talking about you. Yes God always leads you in victory and not in defeat, because defeat is alien to God.

New Beginnings

Isaiah 43:18-19

"Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

The Greatest Gift of All – Jesus

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” – John 3:16

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace” – Isaiah 9:6

This Christmas we celebrate the greatest gift of all, Jesus. God the Father so loved us His creation that He gave His only son Jesus that we might have life. We celebrate the coming of Jesus. Oh what a priceless gift. Jesus, a gift that money cannot buy. Jesus, the irreplaceable gift. Jesus the most precious gift anyone could ever receive.

The Church

Every believer knows or should know that the church belongs to Christ and not to anyone else. In Mathew 16:18 Jesus specifically refers to the church as His church and promised to build it.

…….I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

By the church, we mean, not an edifice of wood, stones but an assembly, and congregation of men and women; and not just any sort; but the elect of God, the general assembly whose names are written in heaven in the lambs book of life.

Power in your Mouth

Mark 11:22-24

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

When we look at the above scripture without looking deeper one might easily loose the context of what Jesus was saying to His disciples and to every believer today.

Take your seat in History

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works” Eph 2:10

I was saying to my wife the other day how much patience and willpower God has (metaphorically speaking). For example, imagine how it will feel to be given the supernatural power to create things at will. You are then given an opportunity to travel back in time to the prehistoric age – where men lived in caves. Picture this!! You are back in time and you are standing over this particular individual who is bent over and on his or her knees. You are watching them try so hard to rub two sharp stones together. They are really struggling. What are they doing? They are trying to start a fire so that they can cook or reheat their food. You watch them knowing that where you come from you have something called a “microwave”.
