What is a kingdom?
A kingdom is the state or domain ruled by a king or queen. A kingdom could be a territory or country which is subject to a king or queen, the sphere in which the king/queen has sovereignty.
So when Jesus spoke about the Kingdom of God or heaven, He was referring to the sphere of God’s sovereignty, the universe, the spiritual realm. The sphere of His authority and dominion.
Nebuchadnezzar the most powerful king of his time could not but acknowledge God’s Kingdom in

King Darius having witnessed the deliverance of Daniel could not but exclaim, Dan 6:26 - I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and steadfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
The kingdom of God is therefore the rule of an eternal sovereign God over all created things. The kingdom of God transcends all earthly kingdoms, Psalm 103:19 - The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom rules over all....
Paul made it clear that the Kingdom of God contrary to what some may believe is not made up of partying and entertainment.
The kingdom of God is made up of His power, authority and His rule.
When God’s kingdom becomes our priority, when we show an unreserved loyalty to the King, the evidence and benefit we get from Him is - power, righteousness, peace and joy which is produced by the Holy Spirit.
I exhort you to seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness and you will reap the benefits of His Kingdom.
