Each of us have communities we influence each day, from where we live to where we work, socialize and fellowship.
We want to encourage each one of you to begin to intentionally engage with people during these summer months and reach out to them with the love of Christ.
We want to challenge you to go out of your way to really engage with the people who live on your street or in the building you live. Even to those people in your workplace, people in your social life community and people in the areas around the church. You can also go to the surrounding area where your cell group meets.
We can all play a part in bringing the message of Christ to the world we live in. If each person were to touch 5 other people's life in some way, with the love of Christ, then... we could touch over 15,000 people... yes, 3000+(membership of KTLCC) multiply 5 persons = FIFTEEN THOUSAND PEOPLE during these months.
Whether we do it is up to each of us individually. SOS resources are now available for you to facilitate this (please feel free to ask for them). In addition to this, as a church, there will be a number of events taking place in the next few weeks that will also give us opportunity to reach out, such as, The Lewisham People's Day, Word of Life Community Sports and Fun Day and the Big Ten Event.
We want to say to you all please get involved. Freely we have received from God. Freely we want to give back into the lives of the people in our communities.
COME ON! Let's GO as Jesus commanded us to.
