JESUS, THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER

Mark 5: 25 - 34

25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”

29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the [a]affliction. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”

31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”

32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

This woman had suffered a long time. She had gone round and round seeking a miracle but all to no avail. She had spent all that she had. She had looked for solution everywhere till she met the Lord Jesus and received her miracle. Power was released from Christ and she received her miracle. Power oozed out of Him as she reached at in faith and her case was settled.

The Lord is still doing miracles today and will keep doing miracles because according to Hebrews 13: 8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

He is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever. He wants us to come to Him in faith like that woman today and receive our miracle.

He still wants to show forth signs and wonders in our lives and experience today. He wants to show Himself mighty in your life and in His Church this month. He wants to release miracles in your life, family and home in this season.

Reach out to Him in great expectation and confident assurance that He is able to do exceedingly above all you can ask of think according to His great power. Run to Him and you will receive your miracle in Jesus’ name. Come to Him not doubting and He will show forth His power in signs and wonders in your life.

Let your faith activate your miracle like this woman did. Don’t worry about the number of years you have been waiting, the disappointments of the past, or you’re seemingly going round in circles. The Lord is waiting to pour out miracles in your life. He is a miracle working God. Just like a car does not move until you put the key in the ignition and start the engine, put the key of faith into motion so your miracle can be released.

This month:

  1. Come to Christ and repent and put your faith in Him to receive His salvation if you have never done so. Become a genuine child of God. Receive the gift of eternal life. This is the greatest miracle, to become a child of God and be born again - 25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Himin the crowd and touched His garment. Jesus is the way the truth, the life. He is the way to God the Father. We must come to Him first to receive Him, and then receive our miracle.
  2. Come to Him afresh again if you are already born again. Repent where you have drawn away from Him, gone back to the old sinful way of life and return to Him as your first love. Jesus says we should abide in Him. If we abide in Him, we will ask whatever we want and it will be done for us. John 15: 7 - If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you[b] will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
  3. Believe in your heart for your miracles. Have strong faith that He is able to do what you are asking for (as long as it is in line with His word and will) - 28For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” She first believed in her heart and from the abundance of the heart she spoke.

  1. Let your words be words of faith. Speak the right things. Speak what you want to see and keep speaking it. Look at the woman with the issue of blood - 28For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”. She spoke out her expectation and it was done for her according to that which she spoke.

Come to Jesus, ask and touch the Lord in faith and you will RECEIVE your miracle - 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the [a]affliction. She came to Jesus, touch him in faith and received. I encourage you to come, ask, touch and RECEIVE.
