Habakkuk 2:4
“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him.
But the just shall live by his faith.
Faith in God is a sign of humility.
Romans 1:17
17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Living a life of faith is stepping into the unknown, trusting in our God who is beyond our understanding.
The truth be told, Faith is not an emotion. Faith is not a feeling. We have many people around us today who have given up and full of hopelessness. Many are quitting the faith. Many are in despair; they have lost hope and lost any sense of reprieve or getting out of their predicament. They are saying this faith thing is not working for me. They are looking at everything around them and they have given up.Yet scripture says in Romans 1:17
17 For in it In what? In the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is your believe and mine in that Gospel that makes us the righteousness of God because of Christ Jesus and keeps us persevering and hopeful in God. We are made JUST by the blood of Jesus Christ and because we have been JUSTIFIED therefore, we must walk and live by FAITH.

The JUST that is The Righteous shall live by faith. This is the lifestyle we have been called to, living by faith. This means every day of my life; I am called to live in faith. It means things might not go the way we have planned it or want it to be, but our eyes should be on God. Our eyes should be on the one who called us out of darkness into His world of Faith, Hope and Assurance. Those of us made righteous by the blood of Jesus are called to live by faith. Living by faith means we are reliant on God and not on our intellect or our emotions.
In Hebrews 10:35-39
35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. Don’t lose heart – Hold fast and strong to the One who called you. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
The Life of faith is a life of endurance. - the ability to endure an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving up. We need the ability to remain active, the ability to resist what the enemy throws at us in our walk of faith. The ability to withstand. The ability to recover when knocked down to jump up again and continue. This ability comes through the help of the Holy Spirit as we ask Him to help us.
37 “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith.
We are called to live by faith and not by sight.
Hebrews 11:1 – NEW KING JAMES
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

1 Faith is a sure confidence of things that are hoped for, and a certainty of things that are not seen.
I have in the past struggled with the concept of faith being a substance. This is because in my mind the word substance denotes something tangible, something real, a real physical thing. However, the Word of God is saying to us that faith is something tangible, something real, it is not an abstract
You might not have in your hands what you are believing God for nor see it now, but we have trust in God that as His saints, who are blood bought, we have what we are believing for.
Faith is tied to a substance – Our faith should be aligned to God and nothing else. We must see it not with the natural eyes but with our spiritual eyes. We must go past our natural eyes to see it
The reason why most of us struggle with faith is our proximity with God. We are too far from GodFaith is not to do with our many times I call out scriptures or quote scriptures. A life of faith is far deeper than that. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God You only get to hear His RHEMA not just the logos in close proximity to Him. Faith is believing that God is telling the truth
HEROES OF FAITH
Scripture calls them a cloud of witnesses.
Hebrews 12:1
Therefore, we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
These great men and women of faith lived a lifestyle of faith hence we should emulate them.
So, while this lifestyle of faith may be challenging, unpredictable and tough, it also comes with its reward.
It might not be when you want it or how you want but the JUST ARE CALLED TO LIVE BY FAITH.
Faith is a lifestyle
The righteous shall live by faith.
