Isaiah 40: 28 to 31

"Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

God is never changing. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the everlasting God. Unlike man, God will never tire or grow weary. He has continuous strength which our human minds cannot even begin to imagine.

Have you ever looked at some situations and circumstances and felt no good can come out of them?

Have you felt like things cannot change, or given up hope, or just plainly find it hard to believe that there is going to be a turn round?

Have you resigned yourself to the thought that things cannot be different, or that God is never going to answer your longstanding prayers to Him?

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.  Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.  Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. We are all facing one challenge or another in life. When we bring ourselves to God he sees our pain.  He knows what we carry. God is able to deal with our brokenness, our hearts, our pain and turmoil. God wants us to be transparent with Him and to communicate with Him as we would a close friend or family member. Even in our brokenness God can use us, he sees the gifts and talents we have within us that need to rise to the surface. Often our pain supresses these gifts, our selfishness suppresses these gifts and our lack of understanding supresses these gifts.

Psalm 34: 17-18 (NIV)

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.  The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

In the midst of our troubles and our pain, when we call out to God he hears us. He sees our tears and our sorrow. He knows and cares about our suffering. God is able to see us through our turmoil.  God works in his time which may not always line up with our time.
