Isaiah 40: 28 to 31
"Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
God is never changing. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the everlasting God. Unlike man, God will never tire or grow weary. He has continuous strength which our human minds cannot even begin to imagine.
When we feel weak; physically, mentally and emotionally, God can strengthen us. When we choose to spend time building up our inner man, God will give us the strength we need for each day. When we feel we cannot go on, God can push us that little bit further. We must choose to lean on Him rather than on our own strength. We must acknowledge when we need to take time out to rest in Him and to replenish. We must do what is necessary to find that time in our busy schedules.
When we rely on God for strength He will continue to fill us anew. While others young and old will faint and fall on the wayside You will continue to flourish and move forward. You will rise up and overcome the challenges that lay before you. May you always find your strength in God and not only look within as our strength really is limited whilst God's is limitless.
