Psalm 34: 17-18 (NIV)
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
In the midst of our troubles and our pain, when we call out to God he hears us. He sees our tears and our sorrow. He knows and cares about our suffering. God is able to see us through our turmoil. God works in his time which may not always line up with our time.
The majority of us would prefer to be removed from our situation immediately as oppose to pushing through it. The truth is God is with us even when we feel alone. He is able to lift us up when we are weak and weary. He is able to fight battles on our behalf.
God is able to heal those who are broken hearted and depressed. Where we see no hope, He brings hope. Where we see no way, he makes a way. God is never changing. His word is powerful. When we are weak he makes us strong.
Whenever you feel low, whenever you feel you cannot face your challenges, ask God to give you strength. Acknowledge that you cannot live without him and give him the honour and reverence he deserves.
