Psalm 23: 1-4 (NIV)
"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
As Christians we will face challenges in this lifetime, some we may feel we cannot push through. Others may consume us meaning we can focus on little else. In the midst of our troubles God can grant us peace if we choose to walk with Him, if we allow Him to guide us. God provides the comfort we need and listening ear when we feel misunderstood or invisible to others. God quenches our thirst and pours into us in order that we can still give out.
God will never leave us nor forsake us so when we face trials and tribulations He is right there with us. We have no need to fear. God does not promise to take the problem away therefore we will feel hurt and pain physically and emotionally but with Him by our side. Often we will pray to God asking for Him to completly remove the problem to prevent us from having to endure. Sometimes we have to go through the pain but we will come through on the other side.
I pray we will have many a testimony to share which will uplift others and our faith will be stronger as we reflect on God's goodness and how far He has brought us.
