Proverbs 3: 13 - 18 (NIV)
"Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed.
As Christians we should walk with godly wisdom. Regardless of our intellect or status our wisdom comes from God. Wisdom is worth far more than worldly possessions and we all have access to gain more. God gives wisdom to those who actively seek Him and have a willingness to grow in their relationship with Him. God gives wisdom to those He can trust and who have the right motives for desiring it.
Wisdom is precious and needs to be guarded and protected. Wisdom is knowing when to speak and when to stay silent. Wisdom is knowing how to bring peace in a time of unrest and chaos. Wisdom is knowing how to bring light and solutions to situations that seem impossible. Wisdom is being one step ahead.
We are to be of good cheer, spreading love wherever we go. We are to bring to life whatever is placed in our hands, like a well overflowing with goodness. We are to be a blessing to all we come into contact with.
I pray that we will become women of great wisdom. That God will reveal His heart to us and we will act upon it. I pray that our words and our actions will bring healing and restoration.
