"But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."
There is nothing too difficult for the God who made all flesh to do. There is no problem so big that the God who made heaven and earth cannot solve. Nothing, and absolutely nothing is too hard for our heavenly Father to handle.
What is your situation that seems like a mountain so high today?
Is it having to care for someone with a terminal disease?
Is it being in so much debt with no hope of becoming debt free?
It is the fact that you have waited so long for a godly man to find you and ask for your hand in marriage?
Is it the pain of seeing your husband or child refuse to acknowledge God talk less of surrendering their life to Jesus as Saviour and Lord?
Is it your broken marriage?
Is it having to deal with a wayward child?
Is it sickness or disability in the family?
Is it the continuing friction and division within your extended family?
Is it not being able to find a job or hold on to a job?
Is it the pain of not having your own child like Hannah in the Bible?
Is it the pain of having lost a loved one in a tragic way?
Is it the frustration of lack of progress and advancement in your career or business?
Is the shame of lack of fruitfulness in ministry?
Is it not knowing how you are going to make ends meet and meet your financial obligations?
Is it the difficult job of having to look after children on your own with hardly any help?
You have prayed, you have fasted, you have worshipped, you have served, you have given of your substance, you have obeyed, you have even tried to do it in your own strength, but the situation remains the same.
Are you looking at your situation and thinking deep down in you, “Yes I know God is great, God is powerful but I am not so sure with regards my situation anymore. If God were going to do something, why this long?”
Whatever the situation is, your Father in heaven sees and knows it all. He says to you, there is nothing too difficult for Him. There is nothing too hard for Him the God of all flesh. Those things that we as human beings think are impossible are never impossible with our all powerful God.
So dear sister, never give up on God, He is too awesome for that. I am making a choice based on Micah 7: 7 - “Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.”
Why don’t you join me in waiting for the Lord till He shows up for you like He did for Hannah, and Sarah, and Elizabeth, and the woman with the issue of blood who had to wait 18 years. He will not fail you because it’s not just possible for Him to fail, so relax and keep waiting and believing...
