2016 - Week 9

Matthew 28: 18-20 (NKJV)

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore[c] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen."

Mark 16: 15–18 (NKJV)

“And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.'”

Ladies, we have a very urgent job to do. It is so urgent we need to start it TODAY. It can’t wait anymore. It is called fulfilling the Great Commission. Jesus is speaking to you and I today and saying Go and preach my gospel. Start making disciples. It does not matter your vocation, whether you are a CEO or a business woman, or a home maker or a minister or a designer. Jesus is beckoning to you today and saying I need you to get out there and start opening your mouth and proclaiming me to those who do not know me. The hour is short, the time is drawing nearer and nearer for His return. Don’t worry about what reaction you will get. Like it is commonly said “let’s get over ourselves” and share the good news wherever we are placed. Proclaim the gospel we must – at the school gates, work, with family, neighbors, friends, in the stores, at home and everywhere.

If the issue is that you are not sure what to say, then please do begin immediately to study and familiarize yourself with the gospel. Practice how to share the gospel and your testimony of a changed life in Christ. Then pray for divine appointments. If you pray, the Lord will bring the divine appointments and opportunities. Grab them, don’t be afraid. The Holy Spirit that dwells inside of you will help you if you will just be bold, take a step and open your mouth. Be a fisherwoman this week and please go fishing for the souls of the lost. Grace to you as you GO!!
