Psalm 133 (NKJV)

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the LORD commanded the blessing — Life forevermore.”

Have you ever heard the saying “United we stand, divided we fall”? There is real truth in this. When we walk as one in unity we open the flood gates of heaven over us. The light of God floods in. Whether in marriage with your spouse or at home with your parents / children or in church with your brothers and sisters or in your friendship relationships, unity releases the blessing of God. The Psalmist in this Psalm is shouting out loud the beauty of walking in unity, living in harmony, getting along with others and coming together as one. He is saying it is beautiful but not just beautiful; it is also beneficial for you and I. It produces the blessing of fullness of life which is never ending, for each one of us who chooses to walk in unity. So let’s take our example from The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit who are in perfect unity. Let’s cut out the things that do not help us live harmoniously with others. In your family, you want to see answers to your prayer, walk in unity with family members based on God’s Word, and you will be pleasantly surprised to see how the Lord will move on your behalf. In the Church, as we dwell in harmony with our brothers and sisters and are united in doing God’s will and seeing His vision fulfilled, we will see a greater move of God. So sisters let’s go for it……
