Psalm 103: 1-5 (NKJV)
“Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Our God is so good, He is worthy of all praise. Why not let us join with the Psalmist this week in blessing the Lord? Take time to bless Him with everything that is within you. Remember all He has done for you and is still doing for you. Remember that He was the One who brought you out of the miry clay and set your feet on a solid rock. Remember to thank Him for forgiving your sins on a daily basis as you come to Him in confession and repentance.
Thank Him for healing you time and time again. Remember all those fevers, ailments and sicknesses in the past, how He took each one away and made your whole?
Thank Him for redeeming your life from sin and the evil one. You and I were on our way to hell but He rescued us through His Son Jesus Christ. Thank Him for His continuous protection from evil, and deliverance for you and your family.
Thank Him for His love and His kindness towards you even to this moment. Thank Him for His tender mercies towards you; His faithfulness is new morning by morning. What an amazing God and Father He is to you and me.
Thank Him for His blessings which make you and me rich and add no sorrow. Thank Him for all the good things He has poured out into your life. Your salvation, family, spouse, children, friends, the home you live in, spiritual gifts, career, business, finances and numerous other good things.
Thank Him that He renews you daily, spiritually, emotionally and physically. Without Him where will we be? Go ahead and give Him great PRAISE……………… He alone is worthy.
