Hebrews 9: 11 -14 (NKJV)
11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews 10: 19 - 22 (NKJV)
19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
These verses of scripture remind us that the blood of Jesus is powerful and it is what has given us eternal life. The blood of Jesus is what cleanses our conscience from dead works. Nothing else. Without the blood of Jesus, you and I have no remission and forgiveness for our sins. Without the blood of Jesus our sins are not washed away. We are purified by the blood of Jesus. Only the blood of Jesus. There are no sins already committed in the past and to be committed in the future that the blood of Jesus cannot cleanse. The blood of Jesus covers all sins for all times and all peoples. Wow!
The blood of Jesus shed for you and I is what now gives us access to the throne room of grace of a God, that is so holy. The blood of God speaks for you. Don’t be afraid. You can now come to your father boldly with your petitions, your supplications, your intercessions, your praise, your thanksgiving and your worship. You can come boldly before the God that created the heavens and the earth, the Almighty one, the El-Shaddai obtain His mercy and His grace.
Why not take time and thank God for the blood of Jesus today?
