Hebrews 4: 13 (NKJV)
And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
The New Living Translation puts it like this: “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.”
My dear sister, there is nothing that is hidden from God. God is all powerful and all mighty and His eyes see everything concerning His creation.
It is very crucial and important that we His daughters grasp this. We must live with an awareness that Our Father in Heaven is all seeing and all knowing. He sees and knows absolutely everything. Knowing this should remind us to weigh the choices we make before we make them, knowing that we will have to give account to Him.
Knowing this should also encourage us and lead us to be totally honest and transparent before him.
God wants you to come to Him and be open before Him. In Hebrews 4: 16 we are told: Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. A way has been made through the blood of Jesus for us to come into His presence to obtain mercy in time of our need.
We don’t need to be fearful of being real with God. He loves us and wants us to have to be totally real with Him. His perfect love for us casts all fear. We need to know and become secure in His love. He wants us to take off the masks and the pretence. We can hide from man but we can’t hide from God.
When we are honest with our Father in Heaven, we acknowledging that we need Him to help us and He surely will. When we are not honest with Him, we are indirectly saying, “Lord I will sort this out myself, I can do this myself”.
Let this be a food for thought for us this week. Grace to you!
