2016 - Week 14

1 Corinthians 12: 1, 4-11 (NKJV)

“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant:
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”

God is so good. He is a God who blesses all of us His children. He has blessed each one of us His children with amazing and extraordinary spiritual gifts. He has distributed these gifts to all His children (including you and I) for the benefit of all.

None of us is without gifts from God and each of our gifts are equally valid, important and needed. We don’t have to be like the other person. We don’t need to covet someone else’s gift nor look down on our gift from God. We must on the other hand not feel we are better than others because we have certain gifts. Not one gift is better in God’s eyes than the other. Every gift God has given us is a beautiful gift and has its purpose. The ultimate aim is that we use our gifts to serve, benefit and bless others. That others profit from the use of our gifts.

So precious sister, have you discovered your gift(s)? If the answer is yes, good. Have you begun to use them to profit others? If not, now is the time to start, ask God to give you opportunity too. If yes, do you know it is your responsibility to develop and sharpen your gift(s)? Yes it is, no one will take the lead on this. You have to.

The journey should start with you and I intentionally discovering what our gifts are. The next step is to begin to use them. We need to start somewhere. From there we must move on to developing them through continuous ongoing training, and constant use of them. Many people are waiting for the manifesting of your gifts so that their lives will be enriched and enhanced. Now is the time to arise and shine. God and others are waiting on you. So ladies, on your marks, get set, GO..
