Psalm 46 verse 1 to 3 (NIV)
"God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging"
The world at present is chaotic with many suffering, war, injustice, corruption and so on. In the midst of the uncertainty God is our help. We can go to Him at any time and sit at His feet. We can be vulnerable before Him as in our weakness He will make us strong.
We must remind ourselves that God is with us in the good and the challenging times. It is He who brings us safely through to the other side. At times we call on Him to take us out of a situation but we may be required to endure whilst He is walking side by side with us. He has promised He will never leave us nor forsake us. Though we may feel alone He is with us. He sees our tears and cries for help when we feel all hope is gone.
He will win the battle for us. We do not need to walk this journey alone. We do not need to have all the answers. God is our guide and only He knows what is to come therefore we must trust Him.
So while the world is in calamity let us walk in peace. Let us find comfort in our father's arms a place of safety, a place of refuge, a place of security.
