This 9 week course is for married couples with children or wanting children soon. Parents for Life helps couples discover the plan for husband and wife to work together nurturing and developing their children (who are gifts from God). Coaching couples, who are parents themselves, help couples; learn to work in the power of parenting God’s way.

This course not only brings healing and growth to children, but it also helps parents walk through their own healing and growth from wounds of their childhoods. Parents for Life brings healing to the generations through God’s power working through the relationship of husband and wife.

COURSE CONTENT:

*In the beginning – Looking at our own childhood and parenting.

*It takes two – God’s plan is for a child to have a mother and a father.

*Treasuring – Appreciating your child’s character and gifts.

*Investing – Learning how to invest time, love, respect and knowledge into your child.

*Training – Training our children to develop the right character.

*Discipline – How to discipline correctly.

*Teaching – Teaching our children the right way of life.

*Release – How to let your child go, to become an independent adult.

*Destiny – God has a plan for every child’s life.


Each week the course also looks back at aspects of your childhood, as well as looking at your parenting today and plans for future parenting.
